OUR TEAM
CHRIS JOHNSON - OWNER/CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Chris has over 15 years of experience as a music composer, sound designer and audio engineer. He has worked at Hallmark Cards in those roles for 13 years, with the past 6 at a Senior level. Classically trained on the piano, he is a multi-instrumentalist and true Swiss Army knife of styles and genres - you name it, he's made it.
Originally from a small town in South Dakota, he came to Kansas City to attend the Kansas City Art Institute and never left. In his ever-shrinking spare time, he enjoys making art (he'd better, right?), making music (again...) and being Papa to his cute but possibly* possessed cat.
*not just possibly. He's seen things...real nightmare fuel.
JAKE TEMEYER - OWNER/COMPOSER
Jake has...shit how old am I? Jake has 15 years of music industry experience. He's a multi-instrumentalist with experience in a broad range of styles. He's also a formally trained audio engineer, and has spent the last decade doing work for Hallmark in their audio department.
Jake is originally from the small town of Marysville KS, but has called Kansas City home for 15 years. He and his wife live in Mission KS and enjoy the many restaurants Kansas City has to offer. On the weekends you'll find him playing with his band, scoping out the latest audio gear, and exploring his newest hobby of roasting coffee beans (while trying not to burn down his kitchen).

AWARDS
With work done for Hallmark, we've received numerous awards from 2012 to present. Several of them are gold (said, of course, in Austin Powers' Goldmember voice).
STUDIO
We have a studio space perfect for creative output and hosting clients. Includes a vocal booth for voice-over recordings, a projector screen for reviews, and a patio for leisurely hang-outs. We might even be convinced to fire up the smoker or break open the whiskey cabinet. Twist our arms, please.
